Q. What is your return policy?

A. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within 30 days, provided it is in new, saleable condition.

Q. What is your warranty?

A. Hat in a Bag offers a limited lifetime warranty for materials and workmanship of its products. If you bent the wire rim by folding incorrectly, you may return the hat to the address below with $4.00 US to cover shipping and handling. We will restore and return your hat.

Q. How do I wash my hat?

A. For the Supplex® hats that come with a mesh bag: Fold hat and place in bag. Close zipper and wash by hand or in the machine on gentle cycle. Do not pre-soak hat in bag. Remove hat from bag and air-dry hat OPENED.

A. For the Microfiber Rainhats that come with a microfiber bag: Fold hat and place in bag. Close zipper halfway. Wash by hand or in the machine on gentle cycle. Remove hat from bag and air-dry hat OPENED.

Q. What size should I buy?

A. Measure your head. If it is 23 inches or less, buy size S/M. If it is over 23 inches, buy size L/XL. If you know your hat size, buy S/M if it is 7 3/8 or less. Buy L/XL for hat sizes 7 ½ and larger.

Q. Why don't you make the outside color a dark color?

A. Dark colors absorb the sun's rays, making them hot to wear. Since the Supplex® styles are designed for hot weather conditions, the outside is always a light color, to keep you cooler.

Q. Are the hats reversible?

A. Most of our styles are not designed to be reversible.

Q. Will the Supplex® hats work as well as the Rainhats in the rain?

A. Yes, both are water repellent, meaning they are effective in average rain conditions.

Q. Will the Rainhats work as well as the Supplex® hats in the sun?

A. Both the Rainhats and the Supplex® hats are rated UPF 50 and are water repellent. The Supplex® hats will feel cooler in hot weather.

Q. Do you make children's hats?

A. Not yet. A child of 7-9 years can wear the size S/M. We are considering adding children's hats to our collection for 2004.

Q. How do I fold my hat?

A.DIRECTIONS TO FOLD HAT: READ BEFORE YOU START

1. Hold hat with your palms up, thumbs on top, at 5 and 7 o'clock.	2. Gently form a "taco" by rotating your hands toward each other.
3. Allow one side of the brim to cross over the other. As sides cross, the bottom part will curve up towards your hands.	4. Bring the bottom section up to join the rest of the hat.

Folding Instructions are also printed on the back of the packaging for each hat.
